Our first connection with ferrets came about as Sue’s daughter came home with a DEW back in 1998 as a Valentines Day present. From that day on she was hooked. The first one was named Punk’n and was bought at a pet store. Of course Punk’n needed a cage mate and there came Tinky and ferret math took over. From there they came and unfortunately left. We have had ferrets from Marshall, Path Valley and from a few of our friends, local breeders here in Columbus. We now have decided to have a few litters of our own with the Breeder ferrets we have come by over the last few years. Our first litters started arriving in April of 2009. Joe and Suzy got married last year and plan to continue to raise quality show and pet ferrets.

By the way, her daughter Gina is now stationed in Texas with her husband Ben, and has raised a few ferrets of her own as well as her family. We obtained two German Hobs from Gina when she was stationed in Germany in the Army.  Gina later undertook the project of helping her mother bring a few more German ferrets . This was completed in October of 2008 and three German ferrets were brought back. We now have Gawain, a black solid or as the Germans call him a “BlackSelf”.
